The ACC 2.4 is a digital control module for operating gate
fold buckle plates, gluing equipment, and timed perforating heads.
A combination of integrated functions inline with the folding
process lets the folder add more value and shortens the
manufacturing cycle considerably. With its outstanding flexibility,
this digital control module represents considerably greater
value than conventional controllers designed for only a single
application. Any two inline functions can be combined and are
independently controlled.
Gluing greatly increases the value added to folded products and
opens up lucrative markets for products made entirely inline.
Gluing also improves handling of intermediate products.
The HSB 34 semiautomatic stacker/bundler complements popular
delivery systems. It efficiently bundles signatures into pressed
and strapped stacks about 30 - 40 centimeters (11.81 - 15.75 nches)
long. This prepares them for interim storage, transport, or further
processing.
The PS pressing station is an add-on unit for folders. It reduces
the thickness of folded sheets after the last folding operation and
presses the folds to make them sharper. This makes it significantly
easier to stack signatures and creates the quality signatures
needed for saddlestitching or perfect binding. The PS is a
standalone, mobile unit equipped with an independent drive. Both
the infeed height and the speed are adjustable to match production
requirements.
The SAK and SAL stream deliveries are universal systems for single-
and multiple-ups. They are standalone units equipped with their own
drives. Folded products are delivered on a short (SAK) or long
(SAL) delivery table in a shingled stream.
The SBP is a large-capacity horizontal stack delivery for folded or
bound signatures, featuring especially high productivity for longer
runs.
The SPH is a stream delivery with integrated pressing device.
Conveyor belts accept signatures as they exit a folder or
saddlestitcher and guide them through a pair of pressing rollers.
Stahlfolder KH 66 and Stahlfolder KH 82 are genuinely universal
folding machines that dependably support you in meeting all
imaginable production requirements. They cover a huge range,
letting you fold signatures for booklets and books but also
cost-effectively handle commercial jobs of all sizes with
top-quality results. The extremely wide range of papers it can
process is also unrivalled.
The Stahlfolder TA 52 provides print shops with a very
straightforward solution for handling simple folding work in-house.
Its high degree of automation, self-explanatory controls, and a
learning mode guide the operator through setup.
The folding machines in the Stahlfolder TD range are ideal for
processing large and special formats. These high-output folders
feature electronically controlled makereadies, sheet monitoring and
production control.

The folding machines of the Stahlfolder TH/KH series from
Heidelberg give you exactly what you need. They are consistently
modular in design: Starting from the basic model, it is possible to
configure a folding machine that is perfectly geared to individual
requirements and specific business models. Effective automation
components make setup faster and boost postpress productivity
significantly, while the ergonomic control concept provides
operators with efficient support. Complete integration into the
Prinect production and management workflow ensures excellent
transparency and enhanced cost efficiency.
The Stahlfolder Ti 36 meets extremely demanding requirements in
terms of very small fold lengths and large numbers of executable
parallel and crossfolds. This makes the machine a genuine
specialist that lets both binderies and specialized print shops
directly tap a highly lucrative market.
The Stahlfolder Ti 40 is a buckle plate folder for the small
commercial printer. Its main strengths: extremely simple operation,
fast makeready, spacesaving footprint, and full mobility of the
entire machine.
The Stahlfolder Ti 52 is the professional solution for all folding
jobs in the format 50 x 70 centimeters (20 x 28 inches). It excels
with favorable operating and investment costs, yet cuts no corners
where folding quality is concerned.
The STA series of small-format deliveries was specially designed
for optimal handling of small-format products [final length between
two and about eleven centimeters (0.79 to 4.33 inches)], such as
packaging inserts with multiple folds. These deliveries prevent
folded products from "popping up", because they are
stacked against a spring-loaded vertical stop in a horizontal
position with the spine down on the delivery table.
The TSH Twinstacker is designed as a modular platform that is
flexibly extendible to meet market requirements. For example, by
adding an SPA Twin lateral pack output.
It is common for binderies to require an extra folding unit for
executing a final cross fold. The VF 66 four-directional folding
unit is particularly suited for this task.
The mobile, height-adjustable VFZ 52 four-way knife folding unit
supplements buckle plate folders, knife folders and stitchers. When
used as the third unit of a buckle plate folder, an
operator-friendly "U configuration" minimizes walking
distances.
The VSA vertical stack delivery is a mobile, very compact delivery
system that counts, batches, presses and stacks folded or bound
products by piling them from the bottom up.
